Profile
The Master of Arts in Media & Design and Postgraduate Diploma in Media & Design programmes are designed to foster the core concepts of individual creative practice and also supportive, collaborative engagement within the many codes and practices that are found in the professional, and academic Creative Industry.
Underpinned by research and positioning of students’ creativity within a professional and academic context, individual skillsets are further enhanced by choosing one of three elective streams in the broad subject areas of Still Images, Moving Images, Music, Audio, and Design. From a collaborative perspective, students will have the opportunity to work together on a culturally significant project, where the integration of these creative streams is undertaken in a real-World environment that will prepare graduates of either programme for work in the professional, and academic Creative Industry. Students undertaking the Master of Arts in Media & Design programme will have a further opportunity to create a major body of work, or a research thesis.
