The programme encompasses teaching of the evolution of aggression, escalation of conflicts and wars, as well as mediation, negotiation, and peacebuilding. The consequences of wars on society, and especially on children and women, are studied.The programme provides interdisciplinary, in particular psychological and anthropological approaches, to the understanding of human aggression, peace, mediation, and conflict resolution. It aims at exploring mechanisms behind conflicts and wars in interpersonal as well as group and international contexts.The aim of the programme is to prepare students for professional activity in both interpersonal and international conflict situations, and also for postgraduate studies and independent research work. After graduation, it is possible to apply for doctoral studies at the department.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency (TOEFL 90 and IELTS 6.5).
