Profile
By means of experiments, observation and measurement, physics reverts the natural phenomena to quantitative relations (experimental physics) and mathematically formulated laws (theoretical physics). The division into the two subareas corresponds to the two types of physical research, namely, to set specific questions on nature and to explore them by experiments and, on the other hand, to interpret the results using mathematical and numerical methods and to predict new facts.
