Profile
The two-year master programme builds on the knowledge acquired in the preceding bachelor’s programme, with advanced skills for solving more complex problems. In this programme, students select their major and minor subjects from a variety of research areas covered by the Cologne physics institutes, according to their interests. The master programme enables students to solve interdisciplinary scientific problems independently. The final module, including the master thesis, is particular aimed at this goal. Owing to its research-oriented focus, the Cologne master programme prepares students for a consecutive PhD programme
