The first one and a half semesters involve coursework, while the last ten weeks of the second semester is used for writing a dissertation. All courses are taught in English. The programme develops analytical skills that are of great professional value, as well as providing research training in Political Science.Programme contentThe Master’s Programme is distinct from undergraduate courses in its emphasis on independent analysis. Each course provides a wide scope for acquiring deeper knowledge. Apart from the relatively weighty Master’s dissertation (15 credits), each course requires written analysis. Moreover, on several courses, teaching is linked to ongoing research in which the teacher is often involved.DegreeDegree of Master of Science (60 credits) in Political ScienceAfter the programmeAccording to a study by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education, most students who have studied Political Science subsequently find some form of work in evaluation or administration. Possible workplaces include government offices and other public authorities, public administration (from local to international level), various private organisations, schools and media companies.There is also an option for a two year program

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with a major in Political Science. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. The application period for non EU students is from October 16 to January 15.
