The two-year M.A. program in Political Science is dedicated to applied research in political science and provides students with broad and sound theoretical and methodological knowledge. Upon successful completion of the M.A. program, students receive the degree Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Science.The Mannheim Department of Political Science is widely known for its empirical-analytical approach and is ranked among the leading departments in Germany and Europe.The M.A. program lasts four semesters and is oriented to the high standards of leading international graduate programs. Its seamless integration with the PhD program enables students to embark on a fast track doctoral program. The program offers courses in various areas of specialization in political science: comparative politics, international politics, political economy, European societies and politics, and formal and quantitative methods. The language of instruction is English.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor degree with a major in Political Science or a subject-related degree.Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is April 30.
