China and Europe are facing challenges of equal magnitude, although from opposite perspectives, in the task of securing quality of life for citizens, social mobility and cohesion, and economic competitiveness. In the broad areas of welfare policies and institutional development, very large changes are likely to happen in the course of just a few years.The purpose of the new MSocSc in Public Management and Social Development is to educate people who can take part in meeting such challenges and changes, with a particular focus on how China and Europe might learn from each other.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree in a relevant filed. The program has prerequisites in an organization (incl. organizational learning and networks; organizational behavior; organizational change; organizational structure and design; organizational theory), management (incl. human resource management; leadership; public management; intercultural management; change management; knowledge management), strategy (incl. corporate strategy; strategic management; state strategies; private/public partnerships), innovation and entrepreneurship (incl. user innovation; dynamics of creativity; firm formation; social entrepreneurship) and marketing (incl. design and brand studies)Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency. The application deadline for non-EU students is February 1.
