Profile
You will experiment with the technical possibilities provided by smart sensors. The curriculum involves courses like Introduction to Smart Systems Engineering, Applied Machine Learning, Adaptive Filtering and Data Centric Architectures. You will learn how to integrate data coming from multiple, complex sensors and how to interpret these data correctly. The Master will provide you with the knowledge and tools required to model and design complex smart systems for big data applications and digital signal processing. After the first semester, you can choose a specialization, which is centered on the practical implementation of your acquired skills. Specialized courses include Products and Services Design, where you will be involved in the full designing process of a sensor system related to an application, and Sensor Application Specialization, where you will explore various sensor applications in your chosen specialization area, ie. either health, energy or hightech system and materials.biology, technology, diagnostics and the health environment (think of hospitals and home care facilities).During your third semester, you will start working on your master thesis project, a six-month research project within the domain of health, energy and HTSM, resulting in a master thesis.
