During the course of study, you will acquire extensive expertise on various energy technologies and systems with focus on sustainability.The first semester consists of three courses covering the main aspects of sustainable energy systems:energy economics, markets, and policies;modelling and analysis of sustainable energy systems using operations research;energy and sustainability. Within this framework, you can choose between the six study lines below.The first semester offers general system and method courses, while the second semester takes a closer look at specific sustainable energy technologies, allowing you to concentrate on theoretical subjects in each area of technology and to choose more laboratory and application-oriented courses. The aim is to provide you with special technological knowledge, while also ensuring that your gain an understanding of the regulatory ramework relevant to the application of the knowledge when performing development and implementation tasks in a company.During the course of study, it is highly recommended that you spend a semester abroad (preferably second semester) at a university offering courses in either specific energy technologies or the more system-oriented aspects of sustainable energy.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with a major in Science in Engineering, Engineering, or Natural Science.
Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency.
The application deadline for non EU students is January 16.
