Profile
The courses in the programme cover a range of interdisciplinary subjects such as Industrial Ecology, System Analysis and Perspectives, Transition Theories, Cleaner Production, Ecosystem Performance, Ecological Economics, Industrial Symbiosis, Environmental Management, Circular Economy, etc. The students are introduced to tools and knowledge that will enable them to apply technology in a more sustainable way.The pedagogical concept applied in the learning process is to work with projects, best practice and case studies; consequently considerable effort is put into training students in discussion, methods for critical analysis and written and oral presentations. It is also a high priority to link courses and projects to practical experience through cooperation with companies, institutions and public authorities.
