Aligned with the educational standards adopted by the Institute of Biomedical Science, our programme provides flexibility to explore various areas of biology based on your interests. Topics include cell and molecular biology, clinical biochemistry, haematology, immunology, genetics, and medical microbiology.
You’ll learn in our modern industry-standard teaching and specialist laboratories and be educated by passionate scientists and researchers. Through practical sessions, you’ll develop essential laboratory techniques, learn to analyse complex data, and gain valuable research experience to succeed.
Biomedical science is the study of the health and diseases of the human body to improve health. Because biomedical scientists need a wide range of knowledge and skills, you’ll study a wide range of modules on our biomedical sciences course.
You will get an in-depth understanding of the complex science behind the cause, consequence, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
We’ll delve deep into blood sciences and the immune system, giving you the opportunity to also expand your knowledge in the fields such as clinical biochemistry researching clinical markers, screening techniques and diagnostic approaches.

Admissions Requirements
High school diploma with B in relevant subjects and average B (3.0) AND one of the qualifications below:
SAT 1 with 550+ in the maths, critical reading and writing. Sat scores range from 200-800
SAT if High School Diploma not passed with 600 points
ACT (American College Test) instead of SAT 1 with composite score value of 25
Advanced Placement Tests 2passes with grade 3 or above (in relevant subjects)
GED (General Education Development Programme) with min score of 410 in each of five tests (max score 800, min pass grade 200)
