Chemical engineering is all about change; creating life-enhancing products and services by applying scientific and mathematical understanding to design, control and improve processes that change raw materials into useful products. Chemical engineers are world leaders in producing medicines, clean energy and water, and other key products in a cost-effective, safe and environmentally friendly manner.
The course is comprehensive, addressing sectors from heavy chemicals like oil and gas to high-value products like pharmaceuticals, as well as issues like energy efficiency, waste minimisation and environmental protection, all in the context of safe and sustainable operations.
Notes
The Student Contribution Charge for EU students is €3,000. EU tuition may be covered by the Free Fees Initiative. EU-Nationals, who are repeating a full year of study, must pay tuition fees.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 and ACT with a minimum score of 23 or SATS with a minimum score 1140. It is required from applicants to have completed 4 years of English, at least 3 years of Math (4 years recommended) at least 2 years of History/Social Science and a language and at least 2 years of a laboratory science subject (4 years recommended). Specific subjects may be required for entry into certain courses.
