Computing professionals are in high demand and short supply. This computing degree in MTU, Kerry Campus, prepares graduates to be problem solvers and innovative thinkers. It is the most flexible of our computing programmes. During the first year, students will study common modules, as they progress into second year, they will be offered a choice of specialisms:

- Software Development
- Cloud Development
As this programme has a common first year for all students, they will be given the opportunity to experience each of the specialist areas before making their choice.
Notes
The Student Contribution Charge for EU students is €3,000. EU tuition may be covered by the Free Fees Initiative. EU-Nationals, who are repeating a full year of study, must pay tuition fees.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 and ACT with a minimum score of 23 or SATS with a minimum score 1140. It is required from applicants to have completed 4 years of English, at least 3 years of Math (4 years recommended) at least 2 years of History/Social Science and a language and at least 2 years of a laboratory science subject (4 years recommended). Specific subjects may be required for entry into certain courses.
