Dental Science is the study of the oral cavity and the diseases associated with oral tissues. This five-year program is designed to ensure that graduates can safely and effectively deliver the full range of primary dental care, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral and dental diseases.
Dental Science: The course for you?
If you have an ability to build caring and professional relationships with patients, co-workers, and the wider community, and if oral healthcare and its impact on individuals interests you, then Dental Science is right for you. You should also enjoy undertaking physically and mentally demanding clinical practice, which requires considerable attention to detail with small margins for error. The course is long (five years) and intense, requiring stamina and commitment.

"Ireland bases its tuition rates on residence (3 of the last 5 years living in the EU) despite whether you're an EU citizen or not. In other words, only those who have resided in an EU country 3 of the last 5 years are eligible for the discounted rates."
Admissions Requirements
US High School Diploma with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better (B+ average) unweighted and SAT with a minimum score of 1250 - 1400 on any two of the Critical Reading, Math and Writing sections and no score less than 500 or ACT with a minimum composite score of 27 - 32, Two Letters of Recommendation, Academic Statement. Special requirements in two of: physics/mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics/chemistry. Weighted GPAs will be recalculated by the Applications & Admissions Team.
