The Degree Program in Digitalization, Computing and Electronics (DICE) focuses on providing a wide range of skills and knowledge needed in research, product development, and production of computer-based devices, services and systems including, for example, expertise for developing solutions to artificial Intelligence based data analysis, Internet of Things, and interactive systems. The program is based on the latest research Excellence and prepares students to apply their skills in working life and gives them tools for continuous learning as well.Student must choose the specialization at bachelor level already on the application phase. During bachelor studies there is only one main subject which is the specialization (Computer Science and Engineering, Information Processing Science, or Electronics and Communications Engineering).- On Computer Science and Engineering specialization, the study options are Information Processing Engineering, Applied Computing, Embedded Systems and Telecommunications.- On Information Processing Science specialization, the study options are Software Engineering, Information systems and Applied Computing- On Electronics and Communications specialization, the study options are Electronics design, Photonics and measurement techniques, Telecommunications, Radio Engineering, Electronics materials and components, and Embedded Systems.
