LUT’s Bachelor’s Programme in Technology and Engineering Science enables you to become an expert in multidisciplinary fields of engineering. The programme is a new Bachelor’s programme in engineering provided in English by the LUT School of Energy Systems. LUT’s Bachelor’s Programme in Technology and Engineering Science responds to the rapidly growing need for sustainable hybrid technology solutions in modern industry. The programme covers interdisciplinary topics from essential fields of engineering, enhanced by language studies, entrepreneurship training, and transferable skills. The programme gives you the competence to solve multidisciplinary engineering problems, manage projects, work in multicultural teams or become an entrepreneur. The programme provides extensive hands-on experience and brings theories and techniques from a broad range of engineering fields into practice through interdisciplinary projects. In this bachelor’s program, you will focus on essential and applicable engineering disciplines, integrating studies of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy technology, and environmental technology. As a student, you can freely choose a specialization during your second academic year. The Bachelor’s degree gives you a sound basis and direct route to further studies in LUT Master’s programmes in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy technology or environmental technology. As a student in this Bachelor’s programme, you are entitled to continue directly your studies at the Master’s level at LUT.
