Profile
The B.A. (Honours) in English and History is a 4-Year Level 8 Programme. It offers students the opportunity to read the greatest works of literature in English alongside the most important and influential events in Irish, European and world history. Students on this programme develop a deep knowledge of literature in English and history, and more generally, advanced understandings of human society and culture at the local, regional and global levels. The structure of the programme gives students a solid foundation in both English literature and History in Years 1 and 2, before allowing them to specialise in either English or History or to keep a balance between the subjects in Years 3 and 4.
Notes
Students that choose to take the Career Practice module on the B.A. (Honours) in English & History programme will be required to undergo vetting.
