Few professions are as rewarding and fulfilling as law, and our LLB degree opens up a world of career opportunities. Successful graduates not only pursue careers in the legal profession but also in law enforcement, journalism, social work, advocacy, and civil service. Our LLB is a three-year honors degree with approved status with King’s Inns and qualifies for law degree status with the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (Northern Ireland). Not only will you study the core areas of law but also new and emerging aspects of the legal world, including alternative dispute resolution, human rights, media law, and street law. In the third year, you’ll also have the opportunity to undertake a work placement and other clinical/practical modules based on experiential learning.
Tuition Fee – the Department of Education pays tuition fees for all full-time students who are citizens of a Member State of the EU and who meet the residency requirements. Most full-time undergraduate students will be covered by the Free Fees Initiative scheme for their tuition fee. Students from Northern Ireland or Great Britain do not have to pay tuition fees to study in the Republic of Ireland. All students are liable for the Student Contribution fee: €3,000. Application deadline for EU students is February 1.
