Considerations
The LLB is a traditional law degree offering a curriculum of core and elective law subjects. Students are encouraged and supported in acquiring skills in legal analysis, legal research, and written and oral communication.

High school completion certificate that comes in at level 5 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications. All candidates must have completed 12 years of full-time education prior to applying for entry to SETU Carlow. All subjects on the High School Completion Certificate must be successfully passed, with good grades.
EU students are eligible for free fees if they meet several requirements. If you have received a letter confirming your grant eligibility from SUSI, you may be exempt from paying the student contribution charge of €3,000.
Applications from non-visa required candidates will be accepted up to the 31st July 2023.
