The aim of this program is to produce graduates who are equipped to function in an entry-level MIS position (Lee, Trauth, and Farwell, 1995; Landry et al., 2000). MIS graduates are expected to have a solid foundation of education for continued career growth or academic development. More specifically, MIS graduates are expected to have a solid foundation of business education, an in-depth specialization in information systems, strong communication skills, and the capabilities to integrate and synthesize information technology solutions for their business domain.
Admissions Requirements
High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or equivalent internationally recognized qualification(s). Students with a lower HSLC grade than 7.5/10 or 15/20 or equivalent depending on the grading system of the country issuing the HSLC are provided with extra academic guidance and monitoring during the first year of their studies.
