The Marketing program at ATU Sligo equips students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the dynamic world of marketing. This program is designed to provide a strong foundation in marketing principles, while also incorporating the latest trends and technologies.
Students gain a comprehensive understanding of marketing theory and practice, covering areas such as market research, consumer behavior, digital marketing, branding, and marketing communications. The program emphasizes practical learning through projects, simulations, and an eight-week work placement. This internship allows students to gain valuable hands-on experience and build their professional network. The program is designed to meet the requirements of the Teaching Council of Ireland and graduates are eligible to sit for the Marketing Institute of Ireland’s Qualified Marketer exam. Marketing graduates are in high demand, with opportunities in a wide range of industries. The program also includes career guidance and support to help students secure their dream job.

Tuition Fee – the Department of Education pays tuition fees for all full-time students who are citizens of a Member State of the EU and who meet the residency requirements. Most full-time undergraduate students will be covered by the Free Fees Initiative scheme for their tuition fee.Students from Northern Ireland or Great Britain do not have to pay tuition fees to study in the Republic of Ireland.All students are liable for the Student Contribution fee: €3,000.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0 plus: SAT score of 1000+ (1800 prior to 2016) or ACT composite score of 22 and above or 2-3 Advanced Placement Examinations in relevant subjects with grades 3 and above OR 2-3 SAT subject tests in relevant subjects with a minimum score of 600 in each.
