The Bachelor study programme is designed to meet the future need for medical care to be provided through an efficient healthcare system, which makes use of state-of-the-art technical equipment in prevention, diagnosis, and therapy. In comparison to other international examples, the RTU programme is interdisciplinary covering both medical engineering and medical physics disciplines. Medical Engineering and Physics is a diverse and exciting programme that covers the research and analysis of many of the latest advances in medicine. A Medical Physics Technology Engineer works at medical institutions such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, health centres, rehabilitation institutions, specialised centres, laboratories, as well as medical equipment distributors. Graduates work in the design, development, testing, control, and maintenance of medical equipment, devices, and instruments. In addition, they work at service, certification, monitoring, production, design, and research companies.
Admissions Requirements
Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate and Transcript with good results, particularly in mathematics and/or physics, Motivation Letter, CV, a video interview and online entrance examination in Mathematics.
