Study all the essentials of computing and software for mobile apps and websites, as well as key areas in mathematics, a major project, and a six-month placement in the industry.
Enjoy the huge benefit of studying another Arts subject with Computer Science in the first year. This lends graduates a wider frame of reference. The Department of Computer Science. Acquire hands-on programming skills and advanced problem-solving techniques in our dedicated computer science building (Eolas). Our new laboratories and equipment provide excellent facilities for practical work, and all our courses include a mix of lectures and lab work.
Spending time working in the industry as part of your degree enhances your employment opportunities once you graduate. We endeavor to provide a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere for learning through our Programming Support Centre, extensive assistance during practical work and we are always available outside of lectures to help our students.

All students are liable for the Student Contribution fee: €3,000 (for non-EU students is already included in the price). Exchequer Free Fees Scheme for EU student is available.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1 (Regular) and May 1 (Late).
Admissions Requirements
High School GPA 3.0/4.0 (3.5/4.0 for certain degrees) plus a minimum 1000 composite SAT (reading, writing and math) score (1200 / 1600 for certain degrees) or a minimum ACT composite: 22 / 36 (26 /36 for certain degrees) (writing section not required). Test scores are not required when applying, they can be submitted at a later date.
