Psychology is the scientific study of mental life and behaviour. It involves areas such as Brain and Behaviour, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Psychological Research Methods.
If your ambition is to develop a career as a professional psychologist, our Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) accredited degree is the first stage in professional training that will require an additional two to six years of study and supervised experience.
You will study Psychology along with two Arts subjects in first year, concentrating on Psychology only in second and third year.

Notes
All students are liable for the Student Contribution fee: €3,000 (for non-EU students is already included in the price). There is an option for 3 years (BA) or 4 years (BA International). Exchequer Free Fees Scheme for EU student is available.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1 (Regular) and May 1 (Late).

Admissions Requirements
High School GPA 3.0/4.0 (3.5/4.0 for certain degrees) plus a minimum 1000 composite SAT (reading, writing and math) score (1200 / 1600 for certain degrees) or a minimum ACT composite: 22 / 36 (26 /36 for certain degrees) (writing section not required). Test scores are not required when applying, they can be submitted at a later date.
