All Dance

Using your own body as a moving metaphor is certainly a specialized skill. Physical ability, technique, visual communication, various styles, and artistic interpretation are all taught as part of a bachelor’s degree in dance. In addition, professionally useful subjects like theater management, promotion, videography, and copyright law are also covered. By the time they graduate, dance majors not only understand their particular art form but can generally fulfill a variety of functions in any theater company or studio. Many degree courses include internship placements.Aside from dancing professionally for media or entertainment, graduates may teach dance to others and develop and choreograph performances. Many study a fitness system such as pilates or yoga and become instructors.
