Why should I study here?

You may already know that we are part of the largest and most traditional private education institution in Spain, CEU, founded in 1933 by the Catholic Association of Propagandists (ACdP). In the Community of Madrid, we were the first to offer a new way of understanding and managing higher education, first as a university college and, since 1933, as a private university. More than 85 years on, our pioneering attitude continues to leave its mark on everything we do. You’ll find out as soon as you get to know us.You might have heard that we are a university with an international vocation. I can assure you that that is completely true. An ever-increasing number of international students, coming from more than 50 countries, enroll to study at the Universidad CEU San Pablo each year. And this is noticeable in the atmosphere you’ll find in our lecture halls and on our campuses.Perhaps you have been told that at CEU, our students are at the heart of everything we do. And that’s not wrong, they are. For that reason, everyone who is part of our university community is fully committed to helping our students grow both professionally and personally. And, on top of that, we do so in a personal way, tailored to each of our students' needs. In any case, welcome to the CEU community, a place that trains students to be excellent professionals but, above all, well-rounded individuals, educated in the values of Christian Humanism and ready to offer the best of their talent to improve our society.

What are the admissions criteria?

What is student life like?

The service organizes internal competitions and inter-university competitions in Madrid and throughout Spain. One of every three students practices some sport at our university. Among the team sports that students can practice are basketball, football, volleyball, and rugby.

The Sports Service also promotes individual sports such as badminton, karate, tennis, paddle, golf, chess, athletics, swimming, and judo. If students like to run, the university has a runner's club.

Finally, if students prefer to do sports with machines, the university has a gym in the Moncloa Campus and several agreements with gyms offering discounts to University of CEU San Pablo students. We have the following student clubs or groups: entrepreneurial club, debate club, music club, theatre group, Chesterton club, writing club, poetry club, Astronomy club, cultural club of wine, and painting group.

To join a group or a club, students need to contact the group admin (published on the website). Volunteering activities are very important for the university and we encourage our students to participate, working mainly with groups of people at risk of exclusion, such as children, the elderly, immigrants, the homeless, or people with diseases.
