Why should I study here?

ISMA is one of the most popular and demanded higher education institutions in Latvia, which rightfully puts it on the first place in the list of Latvian universities of applied sciences. ISMA's strategic vision and continuous development make it possible to offer competitive education based on theoretical knowledge and many years of practical experience, thereby ensuring a professional career for ISMA graduates in the Latvian and European labour markets.ISMA offers training for both Latvian and foreign students at all levels of studies: college-level training, Bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral studies. Thus, ISMA provides its students with the opportunity to obtain education that is in line with their plans for the future, is integrated into the requirements of today's labour market, and contributing to the development of personality and leadership qualities.

What are the admissions criteria?

If English is not your native language, proof of English proficiency is required.

What is student life like?

ISMA offers students modern and renovated study facilities, a library, advanced technical support for studies, a free parking place, as well as opportunities to enjoy meals in the cafe and relax in the park on campus. After the first year of studies, ISMA students can participate in student mobility programs and continue their studies in prestigious foreign universities. During summer practice students acquire and develop their practical skills in international foreign companies. This is an opportunity to apply the obtained knowledge, learn about the world and, which is also important, pay tuition fees with the money earned in the summer months. There are 2 sports sections available for ISMA students. The volleyball section is held twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, it's free for all students and everyone is invited.
