The University of Bayreuth is one of the leading destinations in Germany in terms of its study environment and the quality of its students. What is student life like?

Whether you came to the university to study, work, or conduct research, there is one point on which we can all agree: newcomers feel at home here in no time at all. The campus is both the heart of the university and a source of inspiration. It is where friendships are made, collaboration is initiated, and ideas are conceived-and there is always something going on! If you need to recharge, the University of Bayreuth provides an array of opportunities to help keep your body and mind in balance. For example, you can choose from aikido, badminton, ballet, basketball, archery, Budo Kobudo Ryu, Capoeira, football, High-Intensity Training, Jujutsu, Karate, kickboxing, gymnastics, running, maxxF, modern fencing, mountain-biking, Middle Eastern dance, Qigong, cycling, rugby, self-defense, Step & Style, Tae Bo, Taekwondo, Tai Chi, tennis, table tennis, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, water polo, and yoga. The reputation that the University of Bayreuth has achieved over the past several decades is winning over more and more domestic and international students every year. Among these students are many who have made major contributions to the positive atmosphere on campus through their personal dedication and involvement in various activities. Perhaps you are interested in becoming more politically active or joining the Student Parliament, Campus TV, Web Radio, or the Christian Student Associations.
