Centrale Nantes
Description
In keeping with the traditions of French engineering schools (grandes écoles d’ingénieurs), Centrale Nantes, founded in 1919, trains versatile engineers at a very high scientific and technical level. Equipped with a strong managerial culture, they are capable of placing scientific subjects into a global context, incorporating environmental and societal issues.
As a member of the Ecoles Centrales Group (Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, and Paris), Centrale Nantes delivers a teaching program of the highest quality to rigorously selected students. Over 2000 students are present on the Nantes campus.
Student Life
This is a very lively and dynamic associative activity, thanks to student engagement and the active support of the school. There are more than 80 clubs and associations offering diverse activities all year round:-robotics club, film club, poker, cookery, Zik, ski week, and participation in the 4L trophy. etc.-events of regional or national scope: Créadanse, Inkjet Competition, Nemo Challenge, an international week, etc. Students can find an activity that allows them to express their talents, to develop their organization, project management, and communication skills. A great experience on a personal level, but also the first step towards professional skills.
Housing
Centrale Nantes has an ongoing partnership with CROUS and some private residences. The International Relations Department can thus book accommodation on behalf of new incoming international students. If you are a new incoming international student, the International Relations Department will contact you directly by email by June with regard to your accommodation.

Scholarship & Funding
A number of scholarship opportunities are available to students applying for Centrale Nantes programs. Centrale Nantes Elite scholarships—up to a total of €3,000 for the two years—are awarded to non-European students accepted into the first year of one of the Master's programs at Centrale Nantes.
