The Global Campus of Human Rights is an interdisciplinary center of excellence supported by the EU. We strive to promote human rights and democratization through higher education, specialized training programs, research, and outreach. We do it worldwide through our broad network of member universities. We have a presence in seven regions of the world: Africa, the Arab World, Asia-Pacific, Caucasus, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, and South East Europe.
Our regional headquarters are in Pretoria, Beirut, Bangkok, Yerevan, Buenos Aires, and Sarajevo/Bologna, and are coordinated by our main office in Venice, Italy. The EU is the lead donor of the Global Campus. We have also signed cooperation agreements with major international organizations and other key actors in the field of human rights. In 2019, we entered into a long-term partnership with the Right Livelihood Foundation to strengthen children’s rights.
