Satakunta University of Applied Sciences Rauma (SAMK Rauma) is a Finnish university of applied sciences located in Rauma, Finland. It is one of the four campuses of SAMK, the largest university of applied sciences in Satakunta. SAMK Rauma offers a variety of bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in English, as well as professional development courses and other educational services.
SAMK Rauma is known for its strong focus on engineering and technology, as well as its close collaboration with industry. The university has a number of state-of-the-art facilities, including a mechatronics laboratory, a maritime simulator, and a welding workshop.

Student Life
Fitness gymThe campus fitness gym is open for students, and they need an admission card to have access. SAMMAKKO (Frog in English) is the student union for all students enrolled in SAMK. The union looks after the interests of the students, offers various services, and organizes memorable student events. You can order your student card in advance, there is a long waiting time. As a member, you get student discounts.
Housing
Porifera are several student houses available for the students of the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences in Pori. All rooms are furnished with a bed, a table, and a chair. Any additional commodities like bed linen, towels, and kitchenware have to be brought or bought by the student himself. The accommodation application procedure and more information about the accommodation itself will be sent to selected students along with the letter of acceptance.
