Housing
Semmelweis Housing is the university’s in-house housing department, solely created for the students of Semmelweis University so that they can find the accommodation they need for their stay in Budapest. Our friendly, experienced, and international team will assist new and existing students in a variety of ways, from matching you with other roommates to finding accommodation for all budgets. When you arrive in the city, we take the time to show you the ins and outs of your new place, and we are on hand to help with any questions or queries you may have throughout your stay.

Scholarship & Funding
The university offers two scholarships to international students:
The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship: This scholarship is available to applicants who are Hungarian citizens living outside of Hungary or can demonstrate Hungarian heritage. It covers the full cost of tuition fees for the chosen program.
The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship: This scholarship is a government-funded scholarship program that is open to international students from a variety of countries, including the United States. It covers the full cost of tuition fees, accommodation, and living stipend.
