Description
The University of Applied Sciences Worms is a public university located in Worms, Germany. It was founded in 1978 and its predecessor in higher education dates back to 1949. The University of Applied Sciences Worms comprises faculties of business, tourism/transportation, and computer science.
Student Life
Student groups and sports clubs, many organized through the student group AStA, offer a wide range of organizations to join. Student clubs are popular ways for new students to make friends, both German and international. The Hochschule Worms puts on several events of its own, such as the "Hochschule Worms-Ball", the cabaret and music-filled SHOWABEND, and an international day for students to celebrate their different cultures, traditions, and cuisines with our University students and the citizens of Worms. For students, Worms has more than just a strong academic culture to offer – the social atmosphere and nightlife here are alive and varied. The Taberna bar and café is run by students for students, and it hosts parties and regular film screenings.
Housing
Currently, we can mostly offer accommodations in shared flats.The rooms are furnished and located in the city center of Worms (usually close to the campus). Typical rates for rooms are approx. Euro 250 - 650 per month (incl. related costs).
