Profile
International curatorial master´s programme focusing on art, realized in cooperation with the School of Business and The Faculty of Law at Stockholm University as well as leading art institutions. The aims of the programme are to provide profound theoretical and practical skills in exhibition creation, organizing various types of productions and presentations as well as providing insights into the relations between theoretical thinking and visual creation. Theoretical courses and separate seminars in art philosophy and exhibition theory, management and law are combined with practice based projects and 10 weeks internship at Swedish or international institutions. In addition to the master thesis, the student also produces a final curatorial project. The programme prepares for career options such as curator, exhibition producer or project manager within the cultural field. Furthermore it provides rich opportunities for creating networks relevant to the student’s future professional career. Students will be recruited on the basis of academic and/or professional merits, submitted text sample and interview. A first selection of applicants will be made on the basis of the written applications. A number of applicants will be called for an interview, after which the second and final selection of students will take place.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in any academic or artistic training, or relevant documented professional experience.Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is January 15.
