– the first year includes: two architectural design laboratories, the first of which introductory, which integrates the disciplines of architectural design, urban history and representation, and the second of which is applied to design interventions in historical contexts, both Italian and international. Three programmes which run alongside the laboratories look at: History and the architectural heritage, integrating the history of architecture in Italy from the Renaissance to the 1700s and the theory of restoration; the nature and behaviour of the materials of the built heritage; the sustainability of the built environment, with integration between the disciplines of environmental control, technology and structural consolidation;- the second year includes: a laboratory on urban design in historical contexts, in which the disciplines of the urban project and landscape architecture are integrated; a single-subject programme on the history of contemporary architecture; an integrated programme that focuses on the management of the built heritage, which integrates the disciplines of law referring to cultural property and the evaluation of the heritage.In the second semester of the second year, there is a single preparatory laboratory for the final exam, divided into three sections in which the student can create an obligatory architectural design module with a second module to be chosen from the disciplines of architectural restoration and survey techniques; technology and interior design; the history of architecture and preservation of the landscape.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor degree with a major in Architecture or related field.Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency.
