You will gain an insight into environmental factors and environmental chemistry’s relevance to organisms, the dynamics of biological resources and human impact on the environment. The programme will provide you with the skills to identify, formalise, analyse, evaluate and solve problems within chemistry and environmental biology independently or in cooperation with others. You will learn to understand, develop, implement and evaluate experimental studies, simulations, reasoning or evidence or proof, and to understand, develop, apply and evaluate qualitative and/or quantitative models within the subjects. You finish the programme by writing an interdisciplinary master thesis and you have the possibility to write it as an experimental 60 ECTS master thesis during 3. and 4. semester.
