At the master’s programme in Physics + Chemistry you will study mechanics, relativity theory, astrophysics, condensed matter physics, quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics and statistical mechanics. You will acquire knowledge of organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, kinetics, quantum chemistry, spectroscopy, biological chemistry and physical chemical methods.The programme will provide you with the skills to identify, formalise, analyse, evaluate and solve problems within physics and chemistry independently or in cooperation with others. You will learn to understand, develop, implement and evaluate experimental studies, simulations, reasoning or evidence, and to understand, develop, apply and evaluate qualitative and/or quantitative models within the subjects.You finish the programme by writing an interdisciplinary master thesis and you have the possibility to write it as an experimental 60 ECTS master thesis during 3. and 4. semester.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree with a major in field of study.Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is September 1 and March 1.
