The study programme has syllabuses for six fields of study: Building Constructions, Structures and Traffic Constructions, Water Management and Water Structures, Civil Engineering Management, Building Material Engineering and Construction Technology. The Final State Exam consists of two parts: the defence of the student’s master’s thesis and a specialised discussion on the subjects of the study programme. The aim of the consecutive master’s study programme Civil Engineering is for graduates of the programme to be able to: find employment in their field of study; develop the knowledge gained during their studies in a creative manner; successfully compete with other graduates of similar educational institutions not only in the Czech Republic but also in the states of the EU; be authorised according to Act No. 360/1992 as a certified engineer; employ the necessary language skills; continue in their studies via a doctoral study programme; gain necessary theoretical, specialised and practical knowledge and skills from the area of civil engineering that are based on the current state of scientific knowledge, research and development, and manage to apply them and develop their capability for independent creative activity.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with a major in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is March 31.
