The master programme Computer Science + Molecular Biology will equip you with knowledge, skills and competencies in software engineering and molecular biology.You will learn techniques and theories to analyse, design and construct software systems, including software engineering methods and principles, computer and system architecture, algorithms and data representation as well as design principles for human-machine interfaces. You will acquire knowledge of theories and methods for analysis, design and implementation of IT applications: systems development methods and principles, IT architecture, innovative IT applications as a product, service or process and interaction between IT solutions and uses. You will learn about cell biology and physiology, molecular genetics, biochemistry, genetic and protein engineering and bio-informatics.The programme will provide you with the skills to organise, manage and plan a system development project, including the software component, especially where the development and application of molecular biological models and methodologies are key, e.g. in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry or in IT companies operating within the field of biotechnology.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree with a major in their field of study. Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency. Application deadline for non-EU students is September 1 and March 1.
