This field of study is taught in English and Czech. The “Environmental Modeling” field comprehensively trains students in the modeling of natural processes associated with inanimate nature, such as hydrological and hydraulic modeling, modeling of chemical processes and processes in the atmosphere. Guarantors of subjects from the ranks of scientists and teachers from Prague universities and research institutions – Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University, Czech Technical University – Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Danish Hydraulic Institute – DHI, a.s., Institute of Thermomechanics AS CR, v. v. i. and the Institute of Hydrodynamics AS CR, v. v. i. contribute to the high-level of the field. Graduates find jobs in operating, administrative, management, consulting, forecasting and research segments and are trained for activities in international expert and research teams.
