This branch of study ranks among the branches of study taught in English at the Faculty and it has only a full-time form. It is implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences. During their studies students gain knowledge regarding, in particular, the area of agricultural and forestry management of farmers and the optimum harmonisation of agricultural production and the cultivation of tree species. It secures sufficient production and at the same time helps to protect the soil and landscape in the tropics and subtropics. Graduates are thus young experts capable of helping to solve the issues of the developing world. In their studies they are also taught appropriate communication with the local population with an emphasis on gaining the trust of local inhabitants in modern procedures in order to better protect the nature with their use. There is an opportunity for internship abroad (subtropical/tropical regions) as part of the studies.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in related field. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. The application deadline for non EU students is March 31.
