This laurea magistrale (MSc) course is characterized by a high degree of interdisciplinarity, with the aim to give you specific preparation in the field of food and health and competences in the evaluation of environmental risks associated with food production. Part of the syllabus also aims to increase your soft skills as well as job organization. You will learn food chemistry and transformation, food biochemistry and physiology and will be trained in highly complex methods, which are typical of system biology. You will also learn to evaluate the different aspects of nutrition, regarding both healthy people and a number of pathologies, even in terms of prevention. You will also get some insights on the agronomical aspects of food production (such as physiology and modern genetics of principal agronomic plants), including the environmental impact of agriculture linked to human health.
