Signaling pathways, pathomechanisms, molecular basis of human disorders and molecular switches as therapeutic targets – these are only a few of the aspects covered in the master’s program in Molecular Medicine. This consecutive program covers a large range of topics from basic principles of human development to detailed signaling cascades on the single cell level. In addition to the theoretical background taught in lectures and seminars the curriculum offers a lot of practical training in different areas of basic and translational research.The program aims at attracting students interested in experimental research at the interface of medicine, biology and chemistry. Prerequisites for admission are a first degree in Natural or Life Sciences – especially Molecular Medicine or Biomedical Science – and good medical and molecular knowledge. The program is taught in English.
