Profile
The starting point of your study is joining the intensive International Introductory Course at one of the participating musical institutes in The Netherlands or abroad. After this, your study revolves around the Professional Integration Project (PIP). This project can be designed in any way depending on your own interests, ambitions and qualities and will eventually lead to finalising your Master. To prepare your PIP you follow some mandatory modules such as Performance & Communication, Leading & Guiding, Project management & Entrepreneurship en Practice-based Research. In addition to the mandatory modules there is a variety of optional modules which you can choose within the Open Credits. It is also possible to bring in your own projects. Students in this master are all educated as musician or vocalist. Here you work towards developing your instrumental competences even more. You receive instrumental or vocal lessons from our own teachers and renowned guest teachers from all over the world. You also work on your improvisation skills in the LAB and the Creative Ensemble. You can use these skills on stage but also in interdisciplinary collaborations and in the field of education.
