Profile
MFA Painting has a two-year curriculum. The first year you will focus on exploring your possibilities in your chosen field. You will carry out your own research and studio work in our Hybrid Arts Lab. We will challenge you to explore how you can innovate and renew your own work, encouraging you to cross borders and see beyond the boundaries you are used to. This is also a year of reflection: you will learn to see your own work and that of the other students in another light. It is important to understand the relations between painting and other media and to learn how you can use innovations to improve your own artistic practice. It is also possible to find out more about the international art world, create new concepts and discover the possibilities of artistic research.
