TU Delft offers a unique master’s program that trains students and lateral entrants with a science science background to become educational professionals. They can obtain a first-degree teaching qualification for secondary education and also work as educational researchers, subject didactics, or as educational employees in a science center. You will also learn how to work with schools as a “co-teacher” from a job in industry.
The SEC master’s program is open to students with a Bachelor of Science in the physical sciences and engineering, and to students who already have a master’s degree and want to become teachers. The program has a one-year professional part that leads to a first-degree teaching qualification in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or Research & Design, and a professional science part that deepens your knowledge of teaching methodology, pedagogy, educational technology and educational innovation. First-year teachers have a solid professional knowledge and didactic competencies and teach in the upper grades of havo and vwo.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Undergraduate GPA is evaluated and typical requires at least a 3.0 average.
