In this programme, you can study vocal music or collaborative piano as your main subject. In the Master phase of your studies, you can focus on lied and oratorio music, vocal teaching, opera singing or collaborative piano. After graduation, you can work on soloist or vocal teacher assignments. As a collaborative pianist, you can work as a versatile vocal music professional.Music and drama studies are a part of the education on all levels. You will have the opportunity to participate immediately in different opera productions and concerts arranged in the Helsinki Music Centre’s concert halls, the Sibelius Academy’s own premises and in the metropolitan area churches. You can focus on lied and oratorio music, vocal teaching, opera singing or collaborative piano in the Master phase of your studies.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. The application period for non EU students is January 9-24.
