The Biochemical Engineering Bachelor of Sciences program offers a unique combination of a variety of studies which altogether provides a thorough background in the field of biotechnology. Our aim is to enable students to be competent in all fields of biotechnology by obtaining deep theoretical knowledge and also practical (engineering and technological) skills. Students will have their own experience in laboratory and manufacturing practices that biochemical engineers may encounter in their everyday work. Students will get acquainted with the equipment and apparatus used in the biotechnological industry and understand their optimal operation. Therefore, graduates can choose from a wide range of career opportunities in different areas of biotechnology according to their field of interest and work either in theoretical or practical areas.
