Considerations
EICAR, the only film school in continental Europe with an English language curriculum, offers a three-year Bachelor of Fine Arts program in filmmaking with 5 Specializations: Directing, Screenwriting, Cinematography, Producing, and Editing. The school provides degrees and programs with an emphasis on practical filmmaking experience and teamwork. We favor direct studio work and exercises where lessons can sink in. The programs also concentrate on the proper management of film sets so students can understand how things are done in the professional world and develop their skills and talents accordingly. This is why we focus our curriculum and philosophy on getting the process right.

SECOND YEAR ENTRY PERMITTED: if prior credits earned in a filmmaking related program.
Admissions begins in late October and is rolling but usually goes until early summer depending on places that remain.
