Craft the Games of Tomorrow: Launch your career as a game designer with UE’s exciting BA in Game Design. This three-year, full-time program equips you with the creative and technical skills to become a versatile game designer. You’ll delve into the world of game development, learning to design innovative and engaging games from concept to completion.
Unleash Your Creativity: Develop a strong foundation in game design principles, including narrative design, level design, mechanics and gameplay, and user experience (UX) design. Learn to translate creative ideas into compelling game concepts and user experiences.
Master the Technical Skills: Gain proficiency in industry-standard game development tools and software, including game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine), programming languages (C#, Javascript), and 3D modeling software.
Project-Based Learning: Develop your design skills and problem-solving abilities through engaging game design projects. Work collaboratively in teams to design and prototype original games across various genres (mobile, PC, console).

Notes
In certain cases, you can also study without a school leaving certificate. The prerequisite is that you have a vocational qualification and then at least two years of work experience and wish to study a degree relevant to your experience.
The application deadlines end shortly before the start of each semester, so you can also start at UE at short notice (please take into consideration delays e.g. with entry visa). However, you can apply up to one year in advance.
Deadline for the summer semester: February 28th (Non-EU: February 5th).
Admissions Requirements
Higher School Diploma or equivalent occupational diploma officially translated to English or German, CV, Motivational Letter and Portfolio (5 – 10 work samples). Additionally either a digital game (.exe as ZIP) or a written game concept (1 page).
